Custom Governance Coordinator

About the role

As a Custom Governance Coordinator you will be the regional hub for customs governance activities for Bosch Home Comfort (BHC) across the Asia‑Pacific region. You will work closely with BHC entities, country customs teams and central functions to ensure compliance with Bosch standards and local regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate customs governance activities for BHC entities across Asia‑Pacific and act as the interface between BHC, country customs organisations and central C/TXE.
• Support post‑merger integration of customs activities into Bosch standard processes, governance structures and internal controls.
• Identify, assess and mitigate customs compliance risks; follow up on health checks, risk assessments, audits and other governance actions.
• Drive implementation and standardisation of customs processes and controls within the BHC AP organisation.
• Support tariff classification governance, including HS‑code implementation and coordination of country‑specific requirements.
• Coordinate and support customs audits, authority inquiries, disputes and other official measures together with local organisations.
• Monitor governance status, risks and remediation activities, providing transparent reporting to regional and central stakeholders.
• Provide customs governance advice, training and awareness to BHC stakeholders.
• Facilitate collaboration and knowledge sharing between BHC, local customs managers, operational teams and central functions.
• Support regional customs projects and other governance initiatives as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in international trade, customs, supply chain, finance, law, business administration or a related field.
• 5‑7 years of experience in customs, international trade compliance or a related area, preferably with exposure to multiple Asia‑Pacific countries.
• Good knowledge of customs regulations and compliance processes; ASEAN/AP experience is a plus.
• Experience in customs governance, risk management, internal controls, customs operations or audits.
• Background in manufacturing, HVAC, automotive or a complex international supply‑chain environment is advantageous.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
