Country Rewarding Assistant Manager / Manager

About the role

As a Country Rewarding Assistant Manager/Manager you will lead the design, implementation and continuous improvement of Bosch Malaysia's total compensation and benefits programs. You will work closely with HR Business Partners, senior leadership and external consultants to ensure the reward strategy aligns with business objectives and market standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and review the annual compensation review process, including job evaluation, salary benchmarking and merit increase recommendations.
• Lead the rollout of country‑wide or global compensation programs and corporate rewarding strategies.
• Collaborate with HR Business Partners, location HR and senior management to design and implement annual compensation and benefits plans.
• Conduct market research and analysis to benchmark compensation levels, benefits and incentive structures against industry standards.
• Monitor legislative changes and market trends, providing guidance to ensure compliance with local and global regulations.
• Maintain relationships with external reward consultants and networking groups to stay updated on best practices.
• Communicate compensation policies and manage knowledge sharing to ensure clear understanding of total rewards offerings.

Required profile

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Economics, Statistics, Management or a related field.
• 6‑7 years of experience in regional or country‑level strategic compensation and benefits.
• Strong knowledge of Malaysian labor laws and regulations affecting compensation administration.
• Proven networking skills with reputable compensation consulting firms.
• Detail‑oriented, proactive, self‑driven and a strong team player.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel.
• Experience with Power BI and other HR analytical tools.
• Strong command of MS Office suite.
• Familiarity with Mercer IPE job evaluation methodology (preferred).
