Corporate Accountant – Associate

About the role

PwC is looking for an Associate Corporate Accountant to join its Kuala Lumpur team. You will work closely with clients and internal teams to deliver high‑quality accounting services, supporting day‑to‑day financial operations and statutory reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Perform general ledger data entry and maintain accurate account records.
• Process accounts payable and receivable invoices, including coding and posting.
• Prepare cheque payments, expense claim reimbursements and statutory financial statements.
• Coordinate with clients on routine accounting queries and ensure timely delivery of deliverables.
• Collaborate with team members, provide constructive feedback and identify process improvements.
• Handle, manipulate and analyse financial data while adhering to risk‑management and compliance procedures.

Required profile

• Degree in Accountancy (or final‑year accounting student).
• Minimum 1 year of accounting compliance experience.
• Meticulous, organised and a strong affinity for numbers.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Service‑oriented, motivated, enthusiastic and able to work effectively in a team.
