Companion Animal Technical Sales Specialist

About the role

Our Animal Health division is dedicated to The Science of Healthier Animals®. The Companion Animal Technical Sales Specialist drives commercial success and scientific adoption of our leading companion‑animal portfolio, focusing on blockbuster brands such as Bravecto® and the Nobivac® vaccine range across the Central Region of Peninsular Malaysia. You will act as the primary strategic and technical partner to Class A veterinary clinics and animal hospitals, blending scientific detailing with sales excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Actively sell and promote company products and services tailored to client needs.
• Achieve sales objectives by implementing marketing strategies and sales plans in the assigned territory.
• Provide product information and in‑house training to selected customers.
• Participate in sales meetings, conference calls, training sessions and symposium circuits as required.
• Create, maintain, and update customer profiles, directories, databases, marketing plans, and rolling sales forecasts.
• Monitor and analyse market data to identify competitive advantages.
• Assist with special projects such as pre‑launch initiatives, product launches, and extended customer support.
• Submit accurate reports and paperwork on time and travel extensively to visit customers and leads.

Required profile

• Graduate degree, preferably in veterinary science or animal science.
• Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Self‑driven, motivated to meet sales targets with adaptability to new environments.
• Valid driver’s licence and strong relationship‑management, negotiation and presentation skills.
