About the role

The Commercial Manager, Delivery will oversee the commercial and procurement aspects of delivery projects, ensuring risks are managed and profit margins protected. Working closely with project teams, the role drives value‑engineering opportunities and supports accurate financial reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Lead all commercial and contractual activities throughout the tendering process, performing risk assessments and pricing technical and commercial risks.
• Collaborate with project leads to gather information and submit timely commercial data for monthly project reports and finance deadlines.
• Manage cash‑flow and cost‑to‑complete forecasts for all projects, ensuring accurate financial tracking.
• Refine procurement strategies after contract award to optimise cost efficiency and protect company interests.
• Identify and pursue value‑engineering opportunities to enhance project profitability.

Required profile

• Proven experience in commercial management, procurement and contract administration.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess and price commercial and technical risks.
• Excellent collaboration skills to work with project leads and finance teams.
• Ability to produce accurate cash‑flow forecasts and cost‑to‑complete reports.
• Detail‑oriented mindset with a focus on protecting profit margins.
