About the role
The Collection Officer will manage overdue customer accounts, ensuring timely recovery of outstanding payments while maintaining positive customer relationships. You will work closely with the finance and customer service departments to ensure accurate account information and provide solutions that encourage timely payments. This role is essential to support the company’s cash flow and meet collection targets.
Key responsibilities
- Follow up with customers on overdue invoices via phone and email.
- Negotiate payment arrangements and resolve payment disputes.
- Record all collection activities accurately in the system.
- Maintain updated records of customer communications and payment status.
- Achieve monthly collection targets set by management.
- Collaborate with internal teams to address account issues.
- Prepare regular reports on collection performance.
