Clinical Trial Payment Intern

About the role

Join Lilly's Global Business Solutions team in Kuala Lumpur as a Clinical Trial Payment Intern. You will gain hands‑on experience supporting the financial operations of clinical trials across the Asia Pacific region.

Key responsibilities

• Review and verify clinical trial site payments using Excel, comparing SAP reports, invoices and internal trackers.
• Assist payment analysts to resolve discrepancies and document findings.
• Support vendor creation and purchase order setup in SAP, ensuring alignment with study budgets.
• Help build a SharePoint hub for payment resources, consolidating SME lists, job aids and playbooks.
• Explore Excel automation, macros and approved AI tools to streamline repetitive workflow steps.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing a diploma or degree in any discipline.
• Available for a full‑time, 6‑month internship.
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
• Good communication skills in English; Chinese/Korean language ability is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Willingness to learn SAP.
• Basic knowledge of SharePoint (preferred).
