Central Customer Service Junior Coordinator

About the role

Wilhelmsen is seeking a Central Customer Service Junior Coordinator to join its Marine Products division in Kuala Lumpur. The role supports the Global Customer Service (GCS) and Local Customer Service (LCS) teams by handling quotation and purchase order requests for a wide range of marine consumables and solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Process customer requests for quotations (RFQs) and purchase orders (POs) received through the GCS mailbox.
• Prioritise tasks based on estimated time of arrival, port, and customer type, ensuring compliance with agreed service-level agreements.
• Communicate any irregularities or credit-limit issues to the LCS team promptly.
• Maintain accurate records in the internal system and verify that all specific customer requirements are met.
• Coordinate with Supply Chain and LCS to resolve outstanding items and follow up on pending actions.
• Identify and suggest process improvements to enhance service efficiency.

• Junior-level professional with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to assess urgency of transactions and manage multiple requests simultaneously.
• Good written communication skills for clear updates to internal teams.
• Proactive attitude in flagging issues and supporting continuous improvement.
