Central Customer Service Coordinator

About the role

Wilhelmsen’s Marine Products division is looking for a Central Customer Service Coordinator to join its Kuala Lumpur office. You will support the Global Customer Service (GCS) and Local Customer Service (LCS) teams by handling RFQs and purchase orders, ensuring timely and accurate responses for a diverse maritime client base.

Key responsibilities

• Process customer requests for quotations (RFQs) and purchase orders (POs) from the group mailbox, prioritising based on ETA, port and customer type.
• Maintain agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and flag urgent transactions to LCS when necessary.
• Communicate any irregularities, credit limit issues or special customer requirements to the LCS team.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain and LCS to resolve outstanding tasks and ensure daily completion targets are met.
• Identify and suggest process improvements, sharing learnings with team leads and managers.
• Participate in team discussions, training sessions and perform miscellaneous duties as assigned, including rostered work on Saturdays and public holidays.

Required profile

• Minimum diploma in any field; fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
• Strong organisational, analytical and time‑management abilities.
• Customer‑oriented attitude with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
