About the role
Benchmark Electronics is seeking a proactive Buyer to manage procurement activities within its manufacturing operations in Penang. The role focuses on material ordering, delivery coordination, supplier performance monitoring, and inventory target management.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee material ordering and ensure timely delivery.
- Monitor and evaluate supplier performance.
- Manage inventory levels to meet production targets.
- Make strategic purchasing decisions to optimize cost and quality.
Required profile
- Experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply‑chain functions.
- Strong understanding of material ordering and inventory management.
- Ability to assess supplier performance and negotiate effectively.
