About the role

Pekat is expanding its Solar Division and seeks a dynamic Business Development Executive to drive growth across Malaysia. The ideal candidate will leverage Mandarin language skills to build strategic partnerships and enhance service excellence nationwide.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and secure new business opportunities within the solar and renewable‑energy market.
• Develop and nurture relationships with Mandarin‑speaking clients, distributors, and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with internal teams to design tailored solutions that meet client needs.
• Track market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes to inform strategy.
• Prepare proposals, negotiate contracts, and close deals to achieve sales targets.

Required profile

• Fluent Mandarin (spoken and written) and proficient in English.
• Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
• Proven track record in sales or business development, preferably in renewable energy.
• Female candidates are preferred, aligning with the company’s diversity goals.
