B1.3 License Aircraft Engineer

About the role

Airbus Helicopters Malaysia is seeking a qualified B1.3 License Aircraft Engineer to perform inspection, maintenance and repair of Airbus helicopter fleets. The role ensures aircraft comply with safety and performance standards while supporting both base and out‑of‑base operations.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out all assigned aircraft maintenance tasks on schedule and to high‑quality standards.
• Diagnose mechanical issues, conduct routine checks, and perform repairs or component replacements.
• Supervise and coordinate technicians and mechanics, ensuring safe work practices.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records for regulatory compliance.
• Manage consumables efficiently and control spare part wastage.
• Distribute workload evenly, foster team spirit, and uphold Airbus values and code of conduct.
• Perform any additional tasks related to AHM and MRO activities as directed.

Required profile

• Valid CAAM B1.3 licence with at least one Airbus Helicopters type rating (EC225, H160 or AS365 preferred).
• Minimum 5 years experience on Airbus Helicopter products.
• Part‑66 Category B1.3 licence, preferably with CAA Malaysia ratings.
• Willingness and ability to travel away from base as required.
• Strong knowledge of Safety Management System (SMS) and EASA/FAA/CAAM regulations.
