Associate Specialist, Global Fixed Asset

About the role

The Associate Specialist, Global Fixed Asset will support the Business Service Center in Petaling Jaya by ensuring that fixed‑asset transactions across multiple markets are accurately recorded and reported. This role works closely with local finance teams to align accounting records with US GAAP, local statutory requirements, and internal controls.

Key responsibilities

• Provide fixed‑asset support and analysis, including period‑end close activities for assigned markets.
• Maintain an accurate accounting ledger by posting all required items in a timely manner.
• Execute monthly account reconciliations and ensure compliance with corporate standards and SOX requirements.
• Collaborate with virtual finance teams (COSI, IC COE, regional BSCs) and onsite BSC towers to deliver consistent financial reporting.
• Identify opportunities to streamline processes, participate in special projects, and meet defined KPIs and SLAs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting or Finance.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in finance or accounting within a multinational environment, preferably with exposure to US GAAP and non‑US GAAP.
• Business‑level English communication skills (spoken and written).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a fast‑paced, high‑volume team.
