Associate Quality Assurance Engineer

About the role

Alcon is seeking an Associate Quality Assurance Engineer to support laboratory equipment, systems, and methods. The role focuses on qualification, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement within a GxP‑regulated environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide qualification and troubleshooting support for laboratory equipment, systems, and methods.
• Identify gaps, drive remediation, and implement improvement activities.
• Support LIMS master‑data updates and related improvement projects at site and global levels.
• Conduct periodic reviews of equipment, systems, and methods as required.
• Act as administrator for laboratory equipment, systems, and methods.
• Deliver assigned projects and tasks on schedule.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate lab results into manufacturing and ensure GxP compliance.
• Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to Alcon’s quality, health, safety, and environmental standards.

Required profile

• Degree in Science or a related field.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a testing laboratory, preferably in a GxP‑regulated environment.
• Experience with equipment and method qualification.

Required skills

• Laboratory equipment qualification and troubleshooting.
• Handling of computerized laboratory systems.
• LIMS master‑data management.
• Knowledge of GxP regulations and documentation practices.
