Associate Director – Marketing

About the role

Mastercard’s Advisors Client Services team combines consulting expertise with rich data assets to deliver strategic insights to global clients. Marketing consultants lead the development and implementation of campaigns, using technology and data to shape marketing strategies for regional and global brands.

Key responsibilities

• Manage deliverable development and multiple workstreams on projects across diverse industries and problem statements.
• Contribute to the creation of marketing strategies and campaigns for large regional and global clients by leveraging technology and data.
• Maintain and grow trusted relationships with client managers, acting as a reliable partner.
• Develop sound business recommendations and deliver effective client presentations.
• Plan, organize, and structure work for junior consultants to generate marketing insights and prepare presentations.
• Lead team and external meetings, overseeing project management activities.
• Collaborate with internal Mastercard stakeholders, including Product and Business Development, to build intellectual capital and solutions.
• Mentor junior consultants and take ownership of day‑to‑day project management across client engagements.

Required profile

• Undergraduate degree with experience in marketing and campaign projects covering content, digital/social media, customer experience, product launch, ad‑tech, offline activities, or media planning.
• Proven ability to manage tasks or workstreams in collaborative environments with third‑party vendors.
• Experience managing client relationships, internal stakeholders, and external vendors.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Strong communication skills in English and eligibility to work in Malaysia.
