AOI/SPI/AXI Field Application Engineer

About the role

The AOI/SPI/AXI Field Application Engineer will support surface‑mount technology (SMT) inspection systems and provide technical assistance to customers across the region. This position offers hands‑on work with advanced inspection technologies in a fast‑growing semiconductor manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver on‑site technical support for AOI, SPI and AXI inspection equipment used in SMT lines.
• Assist customers in troubleshooting, setup, and optimisation of inspection systems.
• Collaborate with leading SMT and semiconductor manufacturers to ensure successful integration of inspection solutions.
• Conduct training sessions and product demonstrations for end‑users.

Required profile

• Degree or diploma in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related technical field.
• Strong interest in semiconductor and electronics manufacturing.
• Willingness to travel regionally for customer engagements.

Required skills

• Experience with AOI (Automated Optical Inspection) technology.
• Familiarity with SPI (Solder Paste Inspection) systems.
• Knowledge of AXI (Automated X‑ray Inspection) equipment.
• Understanding of SMT inspection processes.
