Analyst – Invoice to Cash (Contract) – Japanese Speaker

About the role

The Analyst will manage operational processing for Invoice‑to‑Cash (ITC) services, ensuring compliance with BASF requirements, Financial Reporting Compliance and local statutory regulations. The role also drives continuous improvement, digitalisation and harmonisation across the Asia‑Pacific region.

Key responsibilities

• Process ITC workflows, including Accounts Receivable, Collections and Treasury Back‑Office activities.
• Manage unallocated receipts, overdue accounts and post‑dunning actions, proposing corrective measures.
• Perform month‑end and year‑end close activities to ensure timely and accurate account closure.
• Support internal, regional and global process implementation projects such as User Acceptance Testing.
• Participate in compliance audits, respond to audit queries and keep documentation aligned with BASF policies and local regulations.

Required profile

• University degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or Business Administration, or equivalent professional qualification (Chartered/Certified Accountant).
• Fresh graduate with a Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting or related discipline.
• Diploma holder with 1‑2 years of relevant experience in finance or accounting functions.
