Accounts Payable Executive – Shah Alam

About the role

The Accounts Payable Executive will manage the day‑to‑day accounts payable process, handling vendor and sub‑agent reconciliations, communicating with suppliers, and executing payment runs and advance payments. This role supports both overhead and cost‑of‑sales invoice processing and ensures timely, accurate payments.

Key responsibilities

• Process invoices related to overhead, cost of sales and employee expenses.
• Enter electronic and manual bank payments, allocate invoices and monitor payment deadlines.
• Administer payment approval workflow and obtain approvals from operation managers.
• Reconcile vendor statements of account, follow up on unaccounted invoices and clear vendor ledgers.
• Respond to internal and vendor queries via email or phone and maintain production trackers.
• Perform quality audits on posted documents and ensure compliance with tax basics.

Required profile

• Graduate degree (any field).
• Strong communication and reconciliation skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Willingness to work on a shift basis.
• Ability to handle internal business and vendor queries.

Required skills

• Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Advanced Excel functions such as V‑LOOKUP and complex formulas.
• Basic knowledge of accounting software.
