Accounts Executive

About the role

Melati Ehsan Holdings Berhad is seeking an Accounts Executive to join its finance team in Kuala Lumpur. The role is on‑site and full‑time, offering an opportunity for recent graduates or candidates with up to two years of experience to develop their accounting skills in a dynamic environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and process daily accounting transactions, including invoices, payments and journal entries.
• Assist in month‑end closing activities and the preparation of financial statements.
• Maintain accurate ledger records and reconcile bank statements.
• Support the preparation of tax filings and compliance documentation.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure proper documentation and timely reporting.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of experience in accounting or a related field; fresh graduates are also welcome.
• Proficiency in Mandarin is required.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under deadlines.
• Good communication skills in English.

Required skills

• Basic accounting software knowledge.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Excel.
