Account Assistant

About the role

We are seeking an Account Assistant to support our finance team in Ulu Tiram. The successful candidate will handle day‑to‑day bookkeeping, process financial transactions and ensure accurate maintenance of our records. You will collaborate closely with senior accountants and provide timely information to support decision‑making. This role offers an opportunity to develop practical accounting skills in a dynamic environment.

Key responsibilities

• Record daily financial transactions and maintain ledger entries.
• Process invoices, receipts and payments in accordance with company policies.
• Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow.
• Prepare basic financial reports and assist with month‑end closing activities.
• Maintain organized filing systems for financial documents.
• Assist in preparing tax filings and related documentation.
• Support internal and external audit processes.
• Update accounting software records with accurate data.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; further accounting education is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Good communication skills in English.
• Proficiency with basic accounting software.
• Organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks.
