Tech Support Engineer

About the role

AVEVA is seeking a Tech Support Engineer to help customers maintain the reliability and performance of their industrial software solutions. You will work closely with application engineers and global teams to resolve technical issues and contribute to product development.

Key responsibilities

• Assist Application Engineers with site‑specific challenges during commissioning, upgrades and expansions.
• Collaborate with global teams to manage customer relationships and satisfaction.
• Research, develop and recommend corrective measures for field‑identified technical and application issues.
• Participate in power‑monitoring system development by providing user requirements, test scenarios and use‑cases.
• Resolve technical problems raised by end customers, application engineers and internal engineering teams.
• Identify and qualify product or solution failures and support engineering in their resolution.
• Track cases using the company’s CRM tool and document solutions in the Knowledge Base.
• Design, plan, evaluate and test complex systems used to monitor or control electrical equipment.

Required profile

• Engineering degree in Electrical, Power Systems, Computer Science or equivalent.
• Experience in troubleshooting software, hardware, networking, databases or systems.
• Strong knowledge of power and electrical systems.
• Hands‑on experience with server, network and operating‑system installation and configuration.
