Service Technician – Penang

About the role

KONE Malaysia is expanding and seeks a Service Technician to join its Service Maintenance team in George Town. You will work with a small group of Field Service Specialists handling fault calls, repairs and scheduled maintenance for elevators and escalators.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out lift maintenance work, including repairs and installations.
• Accurately report work performed in real time to ensure correct customer notifications.
• Maintain excellent relationships with customers and communicate effectively with all stakeholders.
• Manage daily workload with minimal supervision while ensuring safety at all times.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in the elevator and escalator industry (advantageous).
• Basic mechanical and electrical knowledge with a service mindset.
• Willingness to travel and possession of own transport and a valid motorbike licence.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
