Senior Frontend Developer

About the role

Respond.io is seeking a Senior Frontend Developer to join its fast‑growing engineering team in Kuala Lumpur. You will work on a Vue 3 single‑page application that powers an AI‑driven business messaging platform used by companies worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Define architecture and technical direction for complex frontend modules and real‑time features.
• Design, develop, and ship end‑to‑end product features in close collaboration with the Backend team.
• Set up, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
• Leverage AI coding tools (e.g., Claude, Cursor) for code generation, testing, and review as a standard workflow.
• Ensure responsive, on‑brand UI across devices and create reusable component libraries.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and security.
• Mentor mid‑level and junior developers, raising overall code quality.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional frontend development experience.
• Strong ownership mindset and ability to deliver high‑quality features independently.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and a passion for clean, maintainable code.
• Effective communication and teamwork with cross‑functional partners.
