Operation Specialist – Freight Forwarding (Mandarin Speaking)

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Operation Specialist to support our freight forwarding activities. The role is based in Klang, Selangor and requires fluency in both English and Mandarin to serve our local Malaysian Chinese clients.

Key responsibilities

• Booking Management: receive customer booking requests and issue instructions to liners, co‑loaders, customs brokers, and trucking companies.
• Documentation: prepare and manage ocean and air freight export/import documents, including MBL, HBL and related paperwork.
• Data Submission: ensure timely and accurate submission of SI, VGM, AMS, ISF and ENS manifest information.
• Coordination: act as the primary contact for internal departments, customers, vendors and carriers to ensure smooth operations.
• Finance Support: manage billing processes and fee settlements.

Required profile

• Diploma in logistics, supply chain management or a related discipline.
• At least 1 year of relevant experience in freight forwarding or logistics.
• Fluent in English and Chinese (Mandarin).
• Open to local Malaysian Chinese candidates.
• Full‑time availability.
