Inventory Analyst – Supply Chain Optimization

About the role

As an Inventory Analyst you will define optimal inventory levels for finished goods, semi‑finished goods and raw & pack materials, balancing availability with cost efficiency. You will work closely with planners and cross‑functional teams to ensure smooth supply‑chain operations.

Key responsibilities

• Define inventory strategy in collaboration with planners and Category DSP managers.
• Establish optimal inventory levels for finished goods, semi‑finished goods and raw & pack materials, accounting for demand variability and supplier lead‑time fluctuations.
• Identify opportunities to reduce holding costs through optimized storage, transportation and order‑quantity strategies.
• Segment portfolio and rigorously manage high‑value items.
• Provide regular reports and analysis on inventory trends, risks and opportunities.
• Ensure inventory data quality compliance.
• Collaborate with planners to balance inventories, lead times, capacity and cost decisions.
• Develop and implement inventory risk‑management strategies to mitigate supply‑chain disruptions.

Required profile

• 2+ years of supply planning and inventory management experience in a multinational environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business or Economics (CPIM certification preferred).
• Fluent in English and Chinese; additional languages a plus.
