Final Test Production Line Technician

About the role

Bosch Group is expanding its semiconductor test site in Batu Kawan, Penang. The Final Test Production Line Technician will support the back‑end testing of sensors and semiconductors produced at Bosch’s Dresden fab, ensuring smooth, uninterrupted production on the new PgP5 plant.

Key responsibilities

• Trigger engineers when non‑conformities are detected.
• Perform conversion inspection checks according to work instructions.
• Execute tool change‑overs and maintain 5S standards at the workstation.
• Complete production check‑lists each shift and participate in the Production Suggestion System.
• Follow ESD procedures and verify poka‑yoke devices, reporting findings to engineers.
• Contribute to the Systematic Continuous Improvement Process (S‑CIP) and resolve known deviations through technical problem‑solving.
• Provide first‑ and second‑line technical support to operators and the IT team, handling hardware, software and network issues.
• Assist with network administration tasks, including switches, routers, firewalls and wireless systems, and raise IT tickets promptly.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Diploma in Electrical & Electronics, Semiconductor Production, or a related field.
• Strong teamwork orientation and ability to maintain a healthy working environment.

Required skills

• Understanding of ESD procedures.
• Knowledge of poka‑yoke devices.
• Experience with 5S workplace organization.
• Basic network administration (LAN/WAN, IP addressing, DNS, DHCP).
• Hardware, software and network troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with switches, routers, firewalls and wireless systems.
