Field Service Engineer

About the role

The Field Service Engineer will be responsible for on‑site installation, commissioning and after‑sales technical support of low‑voltage (LV) distribution cabinets. This full‑time position is based in Kuala Lumpur and requires direct interaction with customers to ensure reliable operation of electrical distribution equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Install and commission LV distribution cabinets at customer sites.
• Provide on‑site troubleshooting and after‑sales technical support.
• Conduct functional testing and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Maintain accurate service records and documentation.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to relay field feedback.

Required profile

• Technical diploma or degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related field.
• Ability to work independently on customer premises.
• Strong communication skills in English.
• Willingness to travel within the assigned region.

Required skills

• Experience with LV distribution equipment installation and commissioning.
• Basic knowledge of electrical safety regulations.
