Data Scientist – Advanced Analytics & AI for Manufacturing

About the role

We are looking for a Data Scientist to join Bosch’s manufacturing analytics team in Bayan Lepas. You will turn large operational datasets into actionable insights, supporting product quality, process improvement and real‑time decision making.

Key responsibilities

• Perform advanced data mining, statistical analysis and custom SQL queries on production and operational data.
• Design, develop and maintain production‑grade dashboards and visual analytics using tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
• Build, train, deploy and monitor machine‑learning and deep‑learning models for real‑time use cases.
• Implement scalable AI/ML pipelines that move proofs‑of‑concept into production.
• Collaborate with process experts and stakeholders to embed analytics into the plant’s workflow.
• Support urgent quality complaints, product issues and Industry 4.0 projects with rapid SQL queries.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Analytics or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of statistics, mathematics and data‑science programming.
• Experience working with manufacturing or operational datasets.
