Brand & Content Internship

About the role

Motorist is an automotive platform for car owners, enthusiasts and industry professionals, and its Brand & Content team in Malaysia produces the articles, social posts and short videos that drivers read, watch and share. As an intern you will help create content that is useful, easy to understand and written like a street-smart friend rather than a car dealer or textbook.

Key responsibilities

• Research, write and edit articles for Motorist Malaysia in clear, jargon-free language.
• Draft captions, hooks and scripts for Instagram, Facebook and TikTok.
• Help plan and maintain the content calendar.
• Support shoots and edits for short videos and car reviews: on-site help, simple cuts and captions.
• Fact-check figures and details before anything goes live.
• Track how posts and articles perform and share what you learn.
• Keep everything on-brand: smart, helpful and human.

Required profile

• Currently studying (degree or diploma) in Mass Communication, Journalism, Marketing or a related field.
• Available for the full internship period, 5 days a week.
• A strong writer in English; Bahasa Malaysia is a plus.
• Nice to have: video editing or photography skills, basic SEO knowledge, and an interest in cars and driving.

Required skills

• Comfortable with Canva, CapCut or similar editing tools.
• Knows how Instagram, Facebook and TikTok work and can spot what makes people stop scrolling.
• Careful with facts and happy to double-check before publishing.
