HR Intern - Talent Acquisition

About the role

NXP is looking for an HR intern within its Talent Acquisition team in Kuala Lumpur. The internship gives hands-on experience in end-to-end recruitment activities while contributing to talent and employer branding initiatives, in a dynamic, fast-paced corporate environment.

Key responsibilities

• Support campus recruitment by helping plan, coordinate and run campus programs, career fairs, networking events and university engagement activities.
• Coordinate recruitment and administrative affairs, including interview scheduling, candidate communications and coordination between candidates, hiring managers and the Talent Acquisition team.
• Help automate interview scheduling and onboarding to improve efficiency and candidate experience.
• Contribute ideas and content for employer branding campaigns on social media and recruitment platforms, and support materials that show company culture and career opportunities.
• Take part in local HR activities, working with cross-functional HR teams on employee engagement programs and process improvements.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Communications or a related field; open to engineering students interested in connecting with people.
• Internship of more than 6 months is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, highly organized, proactive and detail-oriented.
• Creative mindset with an interest in employer branding and social media.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint and Word).
