Associate, Quality Assurance

About the role

Alcon is seeking an Associate, Quality Assurance to support its Quality & Regulatory Affairs function in Malaysia. The role focuses on complaint sample verification, equipment standardization, and ensuring compliance with global and local quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform inspections of complaint samples according to SOPs and productivity targets.
• Maintain instrument calibration and verification per Alcon and manufacturer guidelines.
• Investigate assigned NCRs and complete CAPA actions on schedule.
• Develop, review, and revise SOPs, forms, and work instructions.
• Identify and investigate non‑conformances, generate and execute corrective actions.
• Qualify new equipment and ensure compliance with validation requirements.
• Conduct audits, monitor systems, and assist in implementing corrective actions.
• Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

Required profile

• Adherence to Alcon Code of Business Conduct and Health, Safety & Environment standards.
• Commitment to GxP regulations and strict SOP compliance.
• Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate documentation.
• Willingness to complete required training and continuous improvement activities.
