About the role

The role aims to provide amazing learning opportunities by delivering high‑quality Mandarin instruction for KSSM students and creating effective resources that support continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Follow school policies and practices that promote high achievement and effective feedback.
• Deliver high‑quality Mandarin lessons for KSSM, ensuring curriculum coverage, continuity and progression for all learners.
• Identify under‑achieving students using data and implement targeted support plans.
• Act as homeroom teacher for an assigned class, fostering a safe and inclusive environment.
• Develop students’ literacy, numeracy and ICT skills through Mandarin instruction.
• Communicate regularly with parents and carers about progress, curriculum and targets.
• Participate in school events, open evenings and marketing activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or relevant field with a teaching qualification.
• At least two years of full‑time experience teaching KSSM Mandarin.
• Fluency in written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Computer literate with good interpersonal communication skills.
• Patient, responsible, passionate about teaching and able to work collaboratively.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
