Junior Accountant

About the role

Join Wilhelmsen Ship Management’s global team as a Junior Accountant. You will support the Group Reporting & Consolidation (GRC) team in a dynamic maritime environment, gaining exposure to both corporate and business‑area financial reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and verifying manual consolidation adjustments and monthly consolidation data.
• Support the preparation of financial reports, management reporting, and inter‑company reconciliations.
• Maintain and develop unified management reporting processes for corporate and business areas.
• Respond to routine queries, handle e‑journal requests, and follow up on outstanding items.
• Participate in rolling forecast, budget processes, and consolidation system projects.
• Co‑administer the BOFC reporting & consolidation system and support ad‑hoc activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field; fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Basic understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles.
• Strong attention to detail, good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

Required skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with SAP or other consolidation/reporting systems (advantageous).
