Field Officer – Fruits & Vegetables

About the role

The Field Officer – Fruits & Vegetables will support BASF’s growth in the Cameron Highlands by engaging directly with growers, distributors and retailers. Acting as the primary field contact, the officer will promote BASF crop‑protection solutions, gather market insights and ensure sustainable adoption of best‑practice farming.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct regular farm visits, AgClinics and technical consultations, building strong relationships with growers and industry stakeholders.
• Establish, manage and monitor demonstration plots and field trials, collect performance data and share recommendations.
• Plan and execute product promotion campaigns, farmer meetings, field days and product launches to generate demand.
• Provide technical advice on BASF crop‑protection products, promote responsible use and deliver stewardship training.
• Collaborate with distributors, dealers and retailers to strengthen market coverage and support channel partners.

Required profile

• Experience in agricultural field work and farmer engagement.
• Ability to deliver technical recommendations and stewardship training.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with growers and channel partners.
