Area Sales Engineer – Penang

About the role

Atlas Copco is seeking an Area Sales Engineer to drive sales growth of industrial equipment in Penang and surrounding regions. You will build and maintain strong client relationships while delivering technical solutions that meet customer needs.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and prospect new customers for industrial equipment solutions.
• Present product specifications, conduct demonstrations, and provide technical advice.
• Negotiate contracts and close sales to achieve monthly targets.
• Maintain existing accounts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with service and engineering teams to support post‑sale activities.

Required profile

• Proven experience in sales or sales engineering, preferably within industrial or manufacturing sectors.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting while meeting performance goals.
• Willingness to travel within the assigned area as needed.
