SEO Manager

About the role

Remote People is seeking an experienced SEO Manager to shape and execute organic search strategies that drive sustainable growth across global markets. You will work closely with content, development, and marketing teams to ensure the website’s technical health and visibility.

Key responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive technical SEO audits covering site performance, crawlability, indexing, and architecture.
• Own on‑page optimisation initiatives such as metadata, internal linking, headers, and structured data.
• Support keyword research, content planning, and search‑intent mapping.
• Develop and manage link‑building programmes to maintain a strong backlink profile.
• Track and analyse organic performance using Google Search Console and leading SEO tools (e.g., SEMrush, Ahrefs).
• Provide strategic guidance on content optimisation to improve rankings and visibility.
• Partner with developers to prioritise and implement technical SEO improvements.
• Conduct competitor research, gap analysis, and monitor emerging search trends.
• Report on organic performance, visibility, and growth opportunities to stakeholders.

Required profile

• Strong expertise across technical, on‑page, and off‑page SEO.
• Understanding of LLM optimisation, GEO and AEO concepts.
• Hands‑on experience with Google Search Console, Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, and SEMrush.
• Solid knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, site‑speed optimisation, and structured data.
• Excellent analytical ability to turn large data sets into actionable insights.
• Strong writing skills for content optimisation and SEO briefs.
