Senior Project Manager

About the role

We are partnering with a leading fintech company to hire an experienced Senior Project Manager for their growing team in Malaysia. The role involves overseeing project delivery, managing stakeholder expectations, and ensuring compliance with governance standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage project teams to deliver successful outcomes.
• Plan, monitor, and control project scope, schedule, risks, and issues.
• Provide regular project status updates and reporting.
• Ensure compliance with project governance, SOPs, and quality standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, Project Management, Business Administration or a related field.
• 10+ years of project/program management experience, preferably in financial services.
• Project management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, Scrum Master) is an advantage.
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel as required and proficiency in English; Mandarin is desirable.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Familiarity with project delivery methodologies.
