Senior Project Manager – 12‑Month Fixed‑Term

About the role

The Senior Project Manager will lead key initiatives for Zurich Insurance in Kuala Lumpur, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget and scope. This 12‑month fixed‑term role involves direct client interaction, stakeholder coordination and the promotion of a strong project‑management culture across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate internal resources and third‑party vendors to ensure flawless project execution.
• Develop detailed project plans, track progress and manage changes to scope, schedule and cost.
• Monitor project performance using appropriate tools and report status to senior management.
• Manage client relationships and stakeholder expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
• Conduct risk management activities to minimise project risks and maintain comprehensive documentation.

Required profile

• At least 10 years of work experience, including 5 years of proven project management in both Waterfall and Agile environments.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Excellent client‑facing, written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong ability to lead teams, mentor members and drive a project‑management culture.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and related certification (preferred).
