KSSM English Teacher

About the role

The Asia Pacific Schools seeks a qualified KSSM English Teacher to join its National School in September 2026. You will deliver high‑quality English instruction to secondary students following the Malaysian National curriculum and support their overall development.

Key responsibilities

• Follow school policies and practices that reflect a commitment to high achievement, amazing learning and effective feedback.
• Use data to identify under‑achieving students and create and implement effective action plans.
• Work effectively as a Homeroom Teacher for an assigned class.
• Ensure curriculum coverage, continuity and progression for all learners, including those with special educational or linguistic needs.
• Establish partnerships with parents and carers to involve them in their child’s learning and communicate progress.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s Degree in Education (or relevant field) with a Postgraduate Diploma/Degree in Teaching/Education.
• Minimum two years full‑time experience teaching KSSM English (preferred).
• Ability to teach additional subjects such as Literature in English.
• Computer literate with good interpersonal communication skills.
• Fluency in written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Patient, responsible, passionate about teaching; a team player who is flexible to departmental needs.
