Civil Engineer – Infrastructure Design

About the role

Aurecon Perunding Sdn Bhd is looking for a Civil Engineer to support its Civil & Structural division in Petaling Jaya. You will help establish best civil engineering practices while contributing to complex infrastructure projects.

Key responsibilities

• Perform conceptual, basic and detailed design calculations and produce drawings.
• Prepare and review technical drawings, specifications, method statements and other project documentation.
• Attend site meetings and coordinate design with clients, consultants, authorities and contractors.
• Provide technical input during tendering and procurement, acting as liaison between sub‑contractors and the site for civil works.
• Ensure compliance with design criteria, client briefs, approved concepts and relevant standards.
• Undertake any other duties assigned by the team leader.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Registered with BEM (mandatory).
• 3–5 years of experience in an engineering consulting firm.
• Experience in infrastructure design for earthworks, road & drainage, water and sewerage.
• Ability to work independently under pressure with minimal supervision.
• Good communication skills in spoken and written English.

Required skills

• Civil 3D.
• Proficiency with design software and technical analysis tools.
