Business Analyst – 24‑Month Contract

About the role

Zurich Insurance is looking for a Business Analyst to support the Execution & Change Division in Kuala Lumpur. This 24‑month fixed‑term role will involve analysing business processes, defining requirements and helping deliver system enhancements that improve operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Lead project resource planning, design and implementation of business requirements and system modifications.
• Gather, document and review business requirements with product owners and stakeholders.
• Communicate project progress and delivery status to key stakeholders regularly.
• Create and review test case scenarios, ensuring requirements are covered during testing.
• Coordinate and manage business analyst tasks across projects, providing guidance and support.
• Apply delivery methodologies such as Agile, Waterfall and Lean Six Sigma as appropriate.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of experience as a Business Analyst in life‑insurance product or system migration projects.
• Proven track record in relationship management, process improvement and project delivery.
• Experience with new product and distribution channel implementation.
• Understanding of computer programming concepts and intelligent automation technologies is a plus.
• Relevant certifications such as Yellow/Green Belt Lean Six Sigma or PMP are preferred.
