Senior HR Associate – Malaysia

About the role

Alcon is seeking a Senior HR Associate to support its Human Resources function in Malaysia. The role will partner with business leaders to deliver HR services, drive talent initiatives and ensure a positive associate experience across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with assigned business leaders to implement enterprise‑level HR initiatives and people processes.
• Deliver core HR services, including compensation, performance management, talent development and workforce analytics.
• Coach managers and mentors on change management, employee relations, career development and talent management.
• Support talent acquisition and workforce planning for temporary fixed‑term direct labor, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Act as liaison with government authorities and external partners, including universities, to build sustainable talent pipelines.
• Partner with HR Centres of Excellence and HR Services to design and execute HR solutions.

Required profile

• Proven experience in HR business partnering, talent acquisition and workforce planning.
• Strong ability to build effective relationships with business leaders, hiring managers and external stakeholders.
• Experience delivering HR programs and managing employee experience initiatives.
• Knowledge of HR compliance and regulatory requirements in Malaysia.
