Lead Platform Engineer – Tier 3 Global Network Support

About the role

Mastercard is looking for a Lead Platform Engineer to drive the design, implementation and support of its Tier 3 global network. You will work with cross‑functional teams to integrate new technologies, merge acquired networks and ensure the stability of the worldwide infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Create network designs aligned with Mastercard Global Standards.
• Develop detailed Low Level Designs and implementation templates.
• Conduct hand‑over sessions and collaborate with engineering teams for deployment.
• Implement solutions for integrating acquired companies into the Mastercard network.
• Engineer and deploy complex routing and switching solutions at a global scale.
• Develop automation scripts to support CI/CD pipelines.
• Provide fourth‑level support to the Operations Command Center, troubleshooting network issues worldwide.

Required profile

• Proven experience implementing new networking technologies.
• Strong problem‑analysis and collaborative troubleshooting skills.
• Experience leading cross‑functional deployments of routing and switching solutions.

• LAN/WAN, firewalls, VOIP, QoS, routing and switching.
• TCP/IP, IPv6 addressing and subnetting.
• Checkpoint and Palo Alto firewalls.
• Cisco routers and switches.
• Aruba switches, ClearPass and access points.
• Prisma Global Protect.
• Arista spine‑leaf architecture.
• Automation tools and scripting for CI/CD.
