Engineer - Test Quality

About the role

The Test Quality Engineer will lead the planning, execution and oversight of testing activities for Bosch's manufacturing lines in Malaysia. You will ensure that all tests are performed accurately, comply with standards, and support continuous improvement of product quality.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and execute test activities according to approved test plans and IEC standards.
• Monitor test progress, review results with Product Quality Engineers and approve test reports.
• Support root‑cause analysis and drive corrective actions to closure.
• Manage test laboratory operations, including capacity planning, workload balancing and inventory control of testing materials.
• Maintain testing equipment, ensure a safe and organized lab environment, and uphold 7S principles.
• Provide training and competency development for test technicians and ensure they are qualified before performing tests.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (e.g., Electronic Engineering).
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in test planning, execution or laboratory management.
• Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Malaysian citizenship.
