Business Analyst – FP&A (Cost & Forecasting)

About the role

As a Business Analyst (FP&A) you will act as a finance business partner for a manufacturing value stream, supporting cost initiatives, forecasting and internal reporting. You will work closely with plant managers and the controlling team to drive financial performance and strategic decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Track and analyse KPI performance by value stream, highlighting risks and opportunities.
• Prepare monthly KPI reports for department heads and quarterly reports for the Board.
• Monitor plant overheads, identify deviations and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
• Develop financial analysis tools to support management decisions.
• Cost new products, guide project managers on cost decisions, and validate input data.
• Maintain costing and accounting data in SAP, including transfer price calculations.
• Forecast product costing for the annual business plan and track cost performance against targets.
• Serve as a key SAP user, providing guidance and documentation for finance processes.
• Lead improvement projects and provide ad‑hoc finance support.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Banking or a related field (Post‑graduate or Master’s preferred).
• Professional qualification such as ACCA, CA or CPA is an advantage.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in financial analysis, cost accounting or FP&A.

Required skills

• SAP (costing and accounting modules).
